Hi I am Jacqueline Alexandra owner of Alexandra's Goodie Baskets. The women you see in the pictures are my inspiration and gene pool. They all were Southern Entrepreneurs: farmers, who owned their own land, and cabin builders who lived in the roaring fork section of the Smoky Mountain National Park in Gatlinburg TN before it was a national park. A few were even motel operators that started out by renting rooms in their homes - that was long before the traditional motels you would find along the parkway in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Even I spent most of my life in the motel business with my Mom who now works for me. By the way nothing has changed as Mom still has the last word - it's the southern way and Momma is always right! A few years ago Mom and I tried to spread our wings and enter the job market. We both succeeded, but they were just jobs, not the passion in our work we were looking for. We soon found out why they were just jobs; we missed each other after a life time of working together. One Christmas as our gift to each other, Alexandra's was born. Alexandra's is now a mother and daughter business that thrives on our love for people and southern hospitality. WE are very passionate about our people, our business, and each other. As our day ends from our deliveries and we start heading for home the conversation is: "Hope they were surprised" …. "Hope it was a great anniversary one they want forget"…..
